How It Works

Tune in to KQED on the radio throughout the day. You can listen to us live on the air (San Francisco 88.5 FM, Sacramento 89.3 FM, Santa Rosa 88.3 FM), via our online radio stream, or from the KQED mobile app. Our radio schedule is available on kqed.org/radio/schedule.

The daily news question is announced at 5:49 pm every weekday. Send your answer to us using the form above for your chance to win one of three KQED-branded Stanley tumblers each month.

Contest Rules:

You can enter to win one prize awarded each month. To enter, submit your answer to the on-air question presented in the 5 pm hour weekdays; deadline for the day’s question is until 5 pm the following weekday. You may enter once per day. At the last day of the month, winner will be randomly drawn from correct entries to receive the grand prize. Winner will be notified by e-mail. Multiple email attempts will be made to contact the winner, but if there is no response by the last day of the month, another winner will be picked. You must be a California resident and 18 years or older to participate. Employees of KQED are not eligible to enter.
