We’re introducing a new approach for editing images, now live in the Auto frame feature in Google Photos. By leveraging machine learning to analyze spatial layout and generative AI to re-imagine the scene from a new perspective, this method interprets standard 2D images as 3D scenes. This allows you to adjust camera position and focal length, giving your 'almost perfect' shots a fresh, authentic look. This 3D-aware image editing feature is now available for eligible photos containing people. Read more on the blog: goo.gle/4cGiUq3

Every Google Meet and Zoom call. Every FaceTime and every voice note. That's Dr. Marian Croak's legacy. The Art of Possible, our short documentary produced in partnership with Google, has been shortlisted for a 2026 People's Telly Awards in the Non-Broadcast category. Voting is officially open! [bit.ly/VoteCTATellyAwards] Dr. Croak is one of the first two Black women inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame and the inventor behind #VoIP technology and text-to-donate, two breakthroughs that fundamentally shaped the internet as we know it. She helped weave the fabric of how the world communicates, and the next generation deserves to know her name. We are grateful to the Google team for trusting us with this story. Telling it was a privilege. Having it recognized is something else entirely. These are the stories Creative Theory Agency exists to tell. Voting is open through April 17th.
