PDBj (Protein Data Bank Japan) maintains the single global PDB/BMRB/EMDB archives of macromolecular structures and provide integrated tools, under the Joint Usage and Research activities of the Institute for Protein Research. The database is supported by JST-NBDC (JPMJND2205) and AMED-BINDS. PDBj's logo PDBj

design incorporates cytochrome c (PDBID: 1cyc), the first structure determined in Japan (each type of log data is available from here).

Suspension of biocuration processing

PDBj will suspend biocuration processing of PDB/EMDB entries
from Saturday, May 2, 2026 to Wednesday, May 6, 2026(JST) during the Golden Week holidays.
OneDep deposition services continue to be available.
