If the owner of the DMP's affiliation changes and they update their DMP, the Producer record on the EZID record does not get updated.
Scenario:
A user is associated with Harvard, registers their DMP and receives the DMP ID.
At this point the EZID record accurately lists Harvard as the "Producer"
User changes their affiliation to UCOP and then makes a change to the DMP (e.g. adds an additional contributor)
At this point, should the "Producer" listed on the DMP change? I think this might have been an edge case scenario for us since we were testing with Super Admin accounts.
@mariapraetzellis do you think updating this makes sense in a normal scenario? For example if the user created their DMP while working at UC Berkeley, then changing to UCSF the following year while still working on the research project and then going into the DMP and making a change. Should we update the "producer" to UCSF. In DataCite terms the Producer is the the Org who owns the DMP.
