There is a problem when selecting files/directories when some file/dir has a name that is longer than the selection window (at most 75 chars).
The problem shows up as incomplete file/dir names with apparently empty lines between them (but that could still be selected, they are only invisible on the screen).
To reproduce the issue you have to point the file selection window (using for example "Paste file": CTRL-Z then Y) to a directory that contains some file or directory whose name is longer than 75 characters.
The version I am using is 2.8-2 under Ubuntu Linux but I have tested the latest from GITHUB, building it from source (version 2.12-dev) and the result is the same.
