The notification sound could come after the microphone is enabled.

Usually when the sound is played, saying that the application is ready to be used, it plays a few seconds before the microphone is really ready for capture. So, I think that first it should be confirmed that the system is ready for voice capture, so that later the sound can actually play, saying that the person can start talking.
