What I'm up to these days

Footnotes

  1. Remember your peak experience (PCE) → that’s your proof that life is already perfect without ‘you’ in the way.

The method is simple: enjoy and appreciate this moment of being alive — the only moment there is. Everything else is noise.

When a feeling pulls you away from being here:

    1. Notice the deviation
    2. Go underneath it — surface feelings always mask deeper ones.
    3. Stay with whatever is at the bottom. Don’t move psychologically. Don’t retreat to pleasant feelings to sugarcoat it. Just feel it in the body.
    4. It passes. The vortex loses spin when unfed.
    5. Notice what was already here all along — already complete, already enough.

When enjoyment emerges, appreciate it. Marvel at the sheer fact of being alive, of being conscious, of this universe existing at all. Appreciation is what makes enjoyment snowball — it activates pure intent, which does the rest.

The self operates like a vortex — instinctual passions (fear, aggression, nurture, desire) swirling into a felt sense of ‘me.’ Stop feeding the swirl and ‘me’ becomes gossamer — thin enough that the senses come alive and this moment reveals itself as extraordinary.

The goal isn’t grim self-improvement. It’s fun. Treat your own psyche like a fascinating codebase you’re reverse-engineering. Get curious. Geek out. Have gusto.
