" My Personal Information "

My name is Aung Thu Aye, originally from Myanmar. I hold a diploma in IT and Cyber Security from John Academy (London) and am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of the People. I am certified as a Certified AppSec Practitioner (CAP) and a Blue Team Junior Analyst (BTJA), both internationally recognized certifications. As a distinguished member of TryHackMe's THM 1% God Level, I am deeply immersed in self-study of both red and blue team security methodologies. My dedication to continuous learning is evident through my participation in various training sessions and obtaining certifications in both red team and blue team security. With a decade-long career starting in 2012 as a professional penetration tester in cyber warfare, I bring over 12 years of expertise in information and payment technology environments. I have actively participated in CTF events such as DEFCON CTF, Secure Code Warrior CTF, Security Innovation CTF, among others, achieving rankings within the top 10 in some instances. I have accumulated nearly 8 years of experience in information security and cyber security. In 2021, I was honored to receive notification of my selection for a prestigious scholarship program. I enthusiastically accepted the opportunity to participate in the Red Team Training Program, generously sponsored by Google in partnership with Cyversity (ICMCP). This collaboration aims to provide cybersecurity training to 200 Cyversity (ICMCP) members, and I am grateful to have been among the recipients. Notably, I secured first place in the CTF competition associated with the scholarship, further fueling my ambition to excel as an ethical penetration tester. Currently, I hold the position of Security Analyst at ONOW Myanmar.
