I'm Antonello Provenzano: born in Palermo (Sicily), now based in Switzerland.
By day, I'm an IT Solutions Architect at Viseca Payment Services. By night (and weekends 😄), I build and ship open-source projects.
I started coding at 10 on a Commodore 64 with BASIC snippets from a math book. Still having fun, just with bigger systems now.
- Building practical software with strong architecture foundations.
- Sharing ideas with the community, not keeping experiments in a drawer.
- Connecting enterprise architecture thinking with real developer workflows.
Also: TOGAF certified architect, Azure Solutions Architect, and contributor to Microsoft's Well-Architected Framework (WAF).
I started Deveel back in 2001. Today it's an active non-profit initiative where I release and grow open-source projects with a community-first mindset.
The mission is simple: test useful ideas, build practical tools, and share them openly.

I regularly share thoughts on enterprise architecture here: antonello.provenza.no.
If you have feedback, ideas, or just want to geek out on architecture and OSS, I'm always happy to chat.
