I'm a software engineer in Oslo. My journey started in 2013 with Google Summer of Code, building Android apps for DHIS2 at the University of Oslo. Two years later, I was hired by UiO.

I moved to Tidal, where I helped migrate the Android app to ExoPlayer and drove the Tidal Connect project in collaboration with Sony.

For my Master's thesis, I built pvec-rs , a persistent vector library for Rust based on RRB trees. The interactive visualization is probably the most fun part.

In 2019, I joined Microsoft. I led the integration of a React Native profile card into Teams Mobile and supported the feature in Outlook Mobile, shipping to tens of millions of users. These days, I'm working on Copilot.

Outside of work, I've been building PulseDisplay , a real-time fitness dashboard for Apple Watch, and occasionally writing on this blog.
