Two things drive everything I do:

1. Dismantle and rebuild with first principles: I question everything. Not to be contrarian but because the "why" is always more interesting than the what. Reading a paper or understanding a system isn't enough - I need to know why they made every single decision they made.

2. Always take the unconventional path: Because you either shatter a belief forced upon you or discover "why" everyone else went the other way.
