Run ./build.sh and load all the dist/* directories into Chrome to see which ones work. See video below.

• Only the esbuild-ascii extension works when including the \uFFFF character (\uFFFE also causes this, so it's not just this one unicode character, though I don't know if there's a pattern)
• After removing the bad character, the UTF-8 extensions start working
