Hey 👋🏻, I'm Daniel

  • 💻 My Journey: Started in Web Design & React ➔ leveled up with Go & DevOps ➔ currently building scalable services with Python.
  • 🌍 Languages: Fluent in Spanish, English, Italian, and French.
  • 🧰 Main Stack:
    • Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, htmx, Alpine.js, and Tailwind CSS.
    • Backend: Python, Django, DRF, Django Ninja, django CMS, Wagtail, PostgreSQL, and SQLite.
  • 📦 Also experienced in: Go, Java, and C (thanks to my CS degree!).
  • 🌱 Currently learning: Rust and low-level systems.
  • ☕ Fun fact: I also took a sabbatical to work as a barista in Switzerland.
  • 🎸 Offline: Traveling, reading, or playing the ukulele (sometimes all at once!).

🚀 Djangonaut Space (Session 6): I recently participated in this mentorship program to contribute to the Django ecosystem. I worked alongside core maintainers of django CMS to modernize legacy code, resolve critical bugs, and expand test coverage.
