I’m an Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Geography & Sustainability at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and an Amazon Scholar. My work focuses on geospatial data science, open-source software, and cloud-based geospatial computing for environmental monitoring (especially surface water and wetland dynamics).
I build and maintain open-source tools such as geemap, leafmap, segment-geospatial, and geoai to make geospatial analysis and visualization more accessible.
