hashemzargari/README.md

Hi there, I'm Hashem Zargari!

I'm a Senior Backend Engineer and Go Specialist based in Padova, Italy. I love designing and scaling high-performance backend systems. I have a proven track record of handling massive scale, like billions of daily requests.

💻 What I Do

  • Backend Architecture: I specialize in Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), DDD, and REST API/gRPC.
  • Tech Stack: My primary language is Golang, but I also work with Python and PHP.
  • Data & Messaging: I use PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Apache Kafka, NATS, and ElasticSearch.
  • Scale: At Digikala, I architected a high-scale real-time notification service. It was optimized to handle 1,000,000 live concurrent connections using only 4 CPU cores and 2GB RAM.

Current Focus

I'm currently building and maintaining mempipe! It's an open-source project I'm really passionate about. If you're into Go and performance optimization, definitely check out the repository and let's collaborate!

Also see memrag and vipedb

Work Experience Highlights

  • Digikala: Led the backend migration of the legacy B2B order management system to a modern Microservices architecture.
  • Ariel Smart Trading: Designed and deployed 27 microservices (Go & Python) for a crypto/forex algo-trading platform. I also built services for real-time price crawling, order management, and risk analysis.
  • Farabi Brokerage: Engineered a stock investment platform serving 8 million daily users.
  • Sensenet Ca: Developed a real-time disaster detection system processing 23,000 events per second from forest sensors.

📫 Let's Connect!

I am currently available for B2B contracting. Feel free to reach out to talk about Go, distributed systems, or my work!
