Description

The purpose of this PR is to improve fundraising information and publicize the Solana BAGS contract, which delivers all taxes to the owner of this project, who has already claimed them within the last 24 hours. There is no way for a third party to misappropriate these funds, as they are only repayable by the developer.

Context

BAGS is a culture-driven project within the Solana ecosystem, focused on community and digital identity. The model includes a 2% tax applied to each token trading transaction, which is allocated to a designated owner or entity to support fundraising initiatives, project development, and related activities. All taxes strictly correspond to market trading operations subject to this automatic mechanism.

This may be some sort of scam -- but it may not be. For the general community, don't participate unless zloirock himself confirms.

@zloirock Are you sure you claimed the memecoin/token COREJS? If not then the 2% taxes does not go to you, this may be some sort of scam, or it may be legit otherwise.

General disclaimer that crypto is a risky business to be in for anyeone trying to use the funding method / getting involved in this thread.

Hi. Thanks for the PR. I really appreciate that someone made a crypto token, the commission from which is directed to core-js support, and to everyone who supported it. However, I'm not sure that it's a good idea to add here a speculative instrument that wasn't created or initially controlled by me. Those interested in such topics will find this token even without a link here.

Hi @zloirock,

I completely respect your decision. However, I wanted to kindly ask if you would consider joining the community:

I also reached out via email regarding this but haven’t received a response yet, so I thought I would follow up here.

It would mean a great deal if you could join the community. There’s absolutely no expectation for you to endorse or promote anything, simply confirming that the funds are directed to the correct destination would help put an end to ongoing debate and speculation.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hi @zloirock, thank you for your thoughtful response.

I completely understand your concern. I've updated the PR to include a disclaimer clarifying that this is an independent fundraising mechanism and not an investment solicitation. The intention is simply to provide an additional, voluntary way for the community to support core-js, without any promotional tone.

Of course, I fully respect your position and leave the final decision to you.

Best regards.

Hi @zloirock would you consider to approve and merge this PR? I think that's fine if the disclaimer has been added.

If you approve the pr @zloirock you'll make at least 100k for funding, or add a more in detail disclaimer.
