Welcome to the Sam Jam! A goofy game jam made by me! (sam)

This jam welcomes everybody! doesn't matter if you never made a single game in your life, work an 9-5 everyday, or locked in a room and haven't seen the sky in days.. but thats besides the point, the main goal is to make a game in 10 days or less!

 CANT TELL YOU THE THEME QUITE YET YOU GONNA HAVE TO WAIT

Every game jam has to have rules (even this one)

1. NO NSFW (self explanatory)
2. NO POLITICS (everbody hates them, there is expectations like if the politics are fictional that is fine)
3. NO AI (this includes vibecoding, ai art, really anything ai)
4. NO PRE-MADE GAMES (this does NOT include pre-made assets, if you have rights you can use those)
5. NO COPYRIGHTED STUFF (we dont want the nintendo lawyers coming to my front door)
6. TEAM LIMITS (the limit is 6 people per team)
7. HAVE FUN game jams shouldn't be stressful (unless its the final day) have fun! 

(If Theres somehow more than 20 people) The Game Jam will use a ranking system voted by the people who made games (even team members can vote) the main categories are:

Theme

Audio

Originality

Presentation

The best games in these categories have a high chance of being played and reviewed!

Q: Will There Be Prizes?

A: Moneywise? No, Getting an image that says you won something? yes.  Your game may also be featured in a video!

Q: Can I use assets i find online?

A: Yes! As long as you have the rights!

Q: Can I work with other people?

A: Of Course you can! However there is a limit of 6 people per team.

Q: Will my game be featured in a video?

A: Really depends, I'm not excepting the game jam to get CRAZY big (like gmtk) but if somehow more than 20 people join than maybe not! really depends how many people join (as I said)
