Security & Data Protection

Last Update: April 2026

Ops.Tools is built for teams that depend on domain, DNS, IP, SSL, HTTP, port, and email authentication data in production workflows. This page summarizes the safeguards we use to protect accounts, API keys, service reliability, and customer data.

Transport and Storage Protection

  • HTTPS is required for the website, dashboard, and API traffic.
  • Administrative access is limited to authorized personnel and reviewed when roles change.
  • Customer data and service records are protected with cloud-provider encryption controls.
  • API keys should be stored server-side and rotated if they are exposed.

Application and Infrastructure Controls

  • Code changes go through review before release.
  • Dependencies and application code are scanned for known vulnerabilities.
  • Infrastructure changes are versioned and deployed through repeatable configuration.
  • Rate limits, abuse controls, logging, and monitoring help protect API availability.

API Key Safety

Treat API keys like passwords. Do not publish keys in client-side code, public repositories, tickets, screenshots, or logs. If a key is exposed, rotate it from your account dashboard and review recent API activity.

Data Deletion

You can request account and personal data deletion. Some records may be retained where required for billing, fraud prevention, security, tax, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes. Learn more on Delete Your Data.

Vulnerability Disclosure

Please report suspected vulnerabilities, exposed credentials, account takeover issues, or security concerns to [email protected]. Include enough detail for us to reproduce the issue and avoid accessing data that is not yours.
