Peta Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2026

Peta is a fully self-hosted solution. Your data never leaves your infrastructure. This policy explains the minimal information we collect and how we handle it.

100% Self-hostedNo data collectionYour infrastructureOpen source

In short: We only collect your account and billing information when you purchase a license. Everything else—your secrets, configurations, audit logs, and usage data—stays entirely on your servers. We cannot access it.

1. Information We Collect

Peta is fully self-hosted. We do not collect your configuration data, usage data, or audit events. All of that stays entirely within your infrastructure.

The only information we collect is:

  • Account and billing details you provide when purchasing a license (name, email, payment information).
  • Support communications you voluntarily send to our team.

2. How We Use Information

We use the limited information we collect only to:

  • Process your license purchase and manage your account.
  • Respond to support requests you initiate.
  • Send important product updates and security notices (you can opt out of non-essential communications).

3. Your Data Stays With You

Peta runs entirely on your infrastructure. Your secrets, configurations, policies, and audit logs never leave your servers. We have no access to your data.

We never sell, share, or monetize any information. The only data we hold is your billing information for license management.

4. Your Choices

  • Request access to, update, or delete your account and billing information.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and billing information only as long as needed for license management. You may request deletion at any time; some records may be retained where required by law.
