In this tutorial, you'll learn how to use simple chat interactions with AI Assistant to search, organize, and enrich your content in Evernote.

AI Assistant is available for all users on Evernote Desktop and Web. Control which AI features are active in your account via Settings → AI features.

Keep the notes you use most within reach with pinned tabs in Evernote. 

💡 Right-click a tab to pin and keep it on the left and jump back to it anytime as you switch between notes.

The new toolbar makes formatting quicker and more intuitive, with tools that adapt based on what you’re working on.

Use / to open the insert menu and quickly add elements like checklists and links. Type @ to link other notes while you type.

Whether you're planning a project or organizing ideas, it’s now easier to write, format, and create your notes on mobile.

Did you spot the new icon for AI Assistant at the start of this video? 💚 🐘 
🕵️ Head to Settings → AI features → AI Assistant icon to change yours too. Mads, our favorite elephant, will be happy to assist you.

As you scroll, the Table of Contents is always within reach, so you can quickly jump between sections without losing your place. 

⚙️ Tip: You can choose which side of your notes the floating Table of Contents appears or turn it off in Settings → Preferences → Notes.

Play YouTube videos directly in your notes with inline previews, so reference videos and related content live alongside your notes. 💫 

When you paste a YouTube link, choose a small or large preview to display the video inline. You can then play, pause, skip, and adjust the volume just like on YouTube. 

⚙️ Manage your default view options for different link types in Settings → Preferences → Notes → Links and attachments.

AI Assistant can now create and update tasks for you, including their due dates, descriptions, and flags, so you can capture to-do's quickly and easily track everything that needs to get done.

This month brings highly-requested updates to AI Meeting Notes, AI Assistant, and Semantic Search, along with a range of Editor improvements, including new link view options and auto-updating titles. Multitaskers rejoice! You can now open content in a new tab and move instantly between notes, keeping your workflow uninterrupted. 

How to open content in a new tab:

1. Right-click a note from the note list 
2. From the … menu 
3. Right-click a kingdom (like your calendar or tasks) from the navigation menu on the left

Keyboard shortcuts:

1. Ctrl + Cmd + O to open the current note in a new tab 
2. Shift + Cmd/Ctrl + T to open a new tab (and jump to it) 
3. Cmd + W to close the current tab
