Support for KAIST Students

Health checkup and chest X-ray examinations are provided as follows only for students currently enrolled at the Main campus(as of the examination date).

※ Students enrolled at the Seoul campus should refer to separate guidelines.

  1. Health checkup appointment

    연 1회 BASIC 건강검진 비용(50,000원)을 KAIST에서 지원하며, 초과 비용은 본인부담입니다.

  2. Chest X-ray examination

    Students who have completed the above health checkup will receive support for the chest X-ray examination (KRW 10,000) once in the following semester.

  • Complete Blood Count(15 items)
  • Blood type(for first-visiting examinee)
  • Electrolyte(4 items)
  • Antibodies against infectious disease: Syphilis, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis A (for first-visiting examinee), Rubella(for first-visiting women under the age of 40)
  • Liver function test(10 items)
  • Lipid(4 items)
  • Renal function test(3 items)
  • Markers for inflammatory diseases(2 items)
  • Other metabolic indicators: Glucose, Uric acid, Vitamin D
  • DOptional items(with extra charge): Thyroid function test(FreeT4, TSH), HIV Ab/Ag, Hepatitis A
